Welcome to Barbara Harvey Elementary School
I am so excited to be your 2-5th ASD teacher. It is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. This will be my fifth year teaching. I am originally from a little tiny town in Pennsylvania and have taught autistic support classrooms in that area. I moved to Florida at the end of April 2019. This will be my third year teaching in Manatee County. I graduated with my bachelors and a dual certification in Special Education and General Education from Widener University. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University to receive my masters in Autism Spectrum Disorder. During my free time I like to go hiking, explore new places, listen to music, and spend quality time with friends and loved ones. One of my biggest passions is teaching and I cannot wait to start the year with your child.
